Dear Wendy,
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family on the passing of beautiful, courageous, committed, and caring spouse and special confidante Betty. I do not remember Betty, but we have in common descendance from parents born in Italy. It is you I remember from our teaching comradeship and camaraderie. I loved your sense of humor which was an anchor in need. You were dedicated to education, community, friends, and family--especially Betty. She will be missed, but she will "live on in love." Connie

I worked with Betty at Luxmanor where I was the media specialist. She was always warm, and receptive while also being a model of efficiency. Always a welcoming figure in the office, we all knew we could depend on Betty! Ellis, too, was often at Luxmanor. Invariably positive, clearly he and Betty were true sweethearts.

I worked as a reading specialist with Betty at Luxmanor. She was so much more than our secretary. she was a friend, a mentor and someone who dispenced hugs, tissues and band aides daily and always had time to listen to your problems. She was loved by the staff, the parents and every child who entered the office. Heaven will be a better place with Betty there and oh so much better organized! RIP Betty! Barb Dormann-Meyer
