Florence Marie Galayda

On May 7th, Florence M. Galayda of Lorton, VA, formerly of West Hazleton, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Michael Galayda, brother, James Bove; sister, Dolores Vaccaro; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Bove. She is survived by her children, Karen Surber (Douglas), Diane Stokes (John), Michael Galayda, Ann Depue (Michael), 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her brothers Ronald Bove (Julie), Richard Bove, Robert Bove and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 11, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on May 12, 2017, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd. Springfield, VA. Followed by Internment at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery.
