Pam, Steve - We recently watched, again, the video of Julia bravely, gracefully and proudly crossing the stage to get her diploma while several hundred people cheered loudly. Many of those cheering did not know her, but, in that moment, she inspired them all by dropping the proverbial pebble in the pond. Your beautiful daughter's laughter, joy, strength and courage will be with us always.

With Love,
The Hamilton Family

This is such a profound loss for us all. Steve and Pam, I'm so sorry. At least every single memory I have of Julia is filled with nothing but happiness -- from opening Christmas presents in Michigan when we were young, to watching her on the boat at the family reunion. She will be missed enormously. Sending all of my love your way.

Dear Julia, thank you for years of love. I miss you so much, but no matter where you are you will always be in my heart. I think of you everyday and I just want you to know how much I love you so much!❤️😊🙂 Now I want to acknowledge your parents, aunt Pam and uncle Steve. You guys have been so strong through this difficult time! So have the rest of this caring family. I wish I could say the same. Can anyone reading do me a favor: try to wear something colorful to celebrate her life instead of mourning her death. Thank you for listening, I love you all! Wishing you hope and miles of smiles, Ava

Mostly I remember Julia's awesome giggle and can recall it easily. She was a smart, funny and amazingly strong young lady. She'll be missed by so, so many people. It's a huge loss for us all.

In her short life, Julia moved with zest, purpose, grace and courage. She packed more into her time than most persons many times her age, always up to a new challenge and experience. She loved animals: had 3 special dogs, swam with dolphin and petted a liion cub. She loved fast rides at amusement parks, tubing, kyaaking, jet-skiing, fireworks and sunsets. She was smart as a whip, had a keen sense of humor and loved nothing better than a good joke. She was a treasure to all who knew her, a thoughtful, beautiful young woman who has left precious memories to all of us who loved her so.

I will forever be so very proud to call you my niece Julia ~ With your contagious laugh, your ongoing tenacity and your smile, you will always remain so cherished. There is a special memorial I created, near the ocean in Half Moon Bay, and I will continue to visit it every time I go there. Forever in our thoughts, you are an inspiration, and so missed by us all, every day ~ Love always, Uncle Chris

My heart aches for you, her parents, and for her grandparents, Aunt Paula and Uncle Max. Julia was one of the strongest people I will ever know. She was battling this disease at many, many family gatherings, but you would never have known it. When I think of Julia, I just see her smile and hear her laugh that sounded like jingle bells. To her and to everyone else, she was just Julia; a determined cousin, a caring niece, a sweet granddaughter, and an amazing daughter. She has left a permanent mark in my life by how she lived her life. Julia was full of courage, gratefulness, and happiness and I learned a lot from her that I will cherish forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I wish you peace.

Words cannot express the feelings we have with the loss of our Julia. She will always be a beautiful memory in our hearts and we will cherish her smile, her laugh, and her love. We count our blessings that we were able to be with her during our family gatherings and holidays. Her strength in all her battles was tremendous. She taught us all how to be fighters, how to enjoy every minute and look forward to the next day. Thinking of you, wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain.

I just don’t have the right words for this. Our hearts ache for you and her grandparents. Julia touched more people than you will ever know. The ladies in our Church grew to know Julia as a beautiful young lady who had amazing strength and will power as we kept them up to speed on her life’s journey. She became an inspiration to all of them. They too send their love and prayers. We will keep Julia and her memories close to our hearts. She was such a precious young lady. Remember that we all love you and are thinking of you as you work through this difficult time. May God bless us all and give us strength.

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony I was truly saddened to hear of Julia's passing. My sincere condolences are with you and your families at this time. As I look at Julia's picture I still see the beautiful first grader that was in my class at Abingdon Elementary. May you find some comfort in knowing that she will always hold a special place in my heart. I only have fond memories of her and vividly recall her happy face walking into my classroom each morning with the sweetest shy smile.
Wishing you peace of mind and days of grace at this difficult time.
