Mary Lee Lynch (age 94)

Of Alexandria, VA passed away peacefully Friday, September 8, 2017. Ms. Lynch was the daughter of the late Harvey A. and Lena M. Lynch. She was a lifelong resident of Alexandria, and was a graduate of George Washington High School class of 1942. Ms. Lynch retired from the Kiplinger Washington Editors Publishing Company as Division Manager of the Subscriber Services Department. She retired in July 1983 after 41 years of service with the company. Ms. Lynch was active in sports, especially basketball, playing with the City of Alexandria Recreational Leagues.

Relatives and friends may call at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302 Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1427 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302 Thursday 11 am. Interment Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
