Mary Inez Watson

Born February 28, 1944 in Alexandria, Virginia passed away on Monday, August 1, 2017. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, David O. Watson, Jr. and her first born daughter Lucinda. Mary is survived by her son, David Watson, his wife Doreen; daughters, Christina Mraz and Rebecca Grunewald, her husband Cris; grandchildren, Mary-Katherine and Joshua Grunewald, Zac Mraz, and David, Thomas, and Jacob Watson; her siblings, Elaine McDonald, Diana Doty, Billy Thodos and Deborah Orchard; as well as her companion and best friend, Winston Gosch. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302, Funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Ivy HIll Cemetery. Mary was a remarkable inspiration to us all and will be missed immensely.
