We returned from Italy and learned the sad news about Pat. Memories of the Larkins as a Kirkside neighbor and friend of my family go back to the 1970's until present. We kept in touch over the years through phone calls and letters sharing travel, weddings, children and grandchildren updates. She was always a strong, cheerful, smiling, and a gracious lady, much like many of the women of her generation. Our paths crossed many times in many ways. Imagine the surprise when my husband was in a real estate class with her. We have lost another member of "The Greatest Generation" and she will be missed!

I am very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Our mothers (Beverly) worked together in real estate. I grew up in Kirkside and cut her grass for many years while in intermediate and HS. She was always so pleasant, appreciative and genuinely interested in whatever we discussed whenever I saw her.
I know you will find comfort rejoicing in many happy memories of the past.
