Richard Layne Collie

Collie, Richard L.  November 5, 2017 at Greenspring Village, Springfield VA. at age 93 from Alzheimer’s.  WW II veteran and USAF retiree as Lt. Colonel, Senior Executive Service with the Federal Aviation Agency and consultant to the Regional Airlines Assn., he was a Virginia resident since 1975. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years Lucy Collie, son Duane Collie (wife Jennifer) daughter Cindy Seidle (husband Gene), grandchildren Sarah, Alex and Chris. Memorial Service at Greenspring Village Chapel on Sunday November 19th at 2 p.m., Interment in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Donations to www.alz.org in lieu of flowers.
