Vincent Lee Hitt, Jr.

Vincent Lee “Buddy” Hitt, Jr. age 71, a native of Alexandria, VA, passed away Sunday evening, February 18, 2018. Buddy was the son of the late Vincent and Helen Hitt and was retired from the National Geographic Society. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Lisa (Phil), Becky ( Matt), Jason  (Wendi); brother, Tom (Cathy); grandchildren, Dana, Ben, Lindsey and Madelyn and niece, Caitlyn. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www. lls.org/national-capital-area. A celebration of Buddy’s life will be held later this summer.
