Anna Marie Bangoy Marshall

On Saturday July 22, 2017 our beloved Anne Marie Bangoy Marshall, 55, passed away at her home in Arlington, Virginia.
Anne was a proud Cardiac Surgical Nurse at Washington Hospital Center. She enjoyed talking each day about her cases and how all of the Doctors, Nurses, SA’s and the entire team helped save lives. She also loved the seven years she spent helping our returning veterans working in the Operating room at Walter Reed Hospital form 2002-2009. Anne touched thousands of lives over the 31 years she was a Nurse with the past 23 years helping those in need here in the Washington DC area. Anne was Chairman and Clinical Instructor for the Operating Room studies at Davao Doctors College for six years. Anne graduated from Nursing school with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brokenshire College in Davao City, Philippines.
Anne loved to travel and explore all parts of the World, she was an avid gardener and didn’t let the squirrels deter her work, she loved spending time with friends sharing food and enjoying talking about her children Frances and Nick. The Holidays were Anne’s favorite time of the year as she so loved hosting the family and giving gifts to everyone she knew. Anne was an active member at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was so fond of Father Clement.
Anne was born and raised in Davao City, Philippines with her now deceased mother Rhodora and father Rolando Bangoy. She is survived by her husband Rick Marshall, her daughter Frances Callejo and Aspen, her son Nick Cezar; her sister Christine Needham, husband Peter Needham and children Angela and Michael; her sister Maribeth Bangoy and daughter Ayeena; brother Charles Francisco Bangoy Sr., wife Mabel, sons Charles Jr. and his wife Aiza, Ramon and his wife Margaux, Gabriel and daughter Denisse and her husband Christian Abasolo.
