It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony (Tony) Scott Jackson announces his peaceful passing after a courageous fight with cancer, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the age of 49 years. Tony was born in Germany, and grew up in Texas, Kentucky, Japan, and Missouri, graduating from Carthage Senior High School. He moved to Virginia after graduating from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) and began working for Ratner Companies.
Tony was an avid sports fan, and could be found watching any sport on ESPN. He enjoyed playing golf with his father and sister, and would travel almost anywhere to play a round or two with his friends. Tony loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved his trip to see the Cowboys play the Chiefs at AT&T Stadium. Most of all, Tony loved his daughter, and enjoyed playing and spending time with her.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Tennley Shea; his parents, Charlene and Norman Jackson, Sr.; his siblings, Norman Jackson, Erika Jackson, and Michael Jackson; aunt and uncles, Mack Dickson, Scotty Dickson, and Diane Dickson, nephew, Eric Jackson, and niece, Maya Jackson, and many cousins and friends.
