Antonio C. Mastrobuono

Antonio Critodemo Mastrobuono, Ph.D., of Raviscanina, Italy, born on January 4, 1937, in Raviscanina, Italy, to the late Maria Mastrobuono and the late Giuseppe Mastrobuono, passed away at age 81 on December 7, 2018, in Pasadena, California. Antonio received his PhD from Harvard University in 1973. He was a professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago, until retiring in 2005. Antonio was married to Diana G. Mastrobuono. He is survived by his sons, Giuseppe Mastrobuono and Alessandro Mastrobuono (Erika Mastrobuono); daughter, Susanna Carey (Stephen Carey); and grandchildren, Charlotte Carey, Henry Carey, and Anabel Mastrobuono. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service, officiated by Father Ezio Marchetto, on Saturday, December 15 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 595 Third Street NW, District of Columbia.
