Bertha Andrews Curtin

Bertha (“Betsy”) Andrews Curtin, 95, of Alexandria, died on Nov. 16, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher (“Chris”) Brenner Curtin, 98, who died on March 24, 2020.
Betsy was born in Washington, D.C. in 1926 and lived most of her childhood in Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Washington-Lee High School in 1944 and Madison College (University) in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1948.
Chris and Betsy wed in 1949 and were married for 71 years. They made their home in Alexandria, Virginia. They are buried alongside each other at Ivy Hill Cemetery.
