CHRISTIEANN MCGURK

Christieann D. McGurk was born July 11. 1933 and died on February 1, 2023.  Born in Dayton, Ohio she was the daughter of Wayne Daring and Helen (Daring) Tasker.  For most of her young life she grew up in Washington D.C. and had a real love of The D.C. area reading everything she could about the city.  Her working years were with the government in the Intelligence sector, especially DIA/CIA.

She was proceeded by death by both her parents and her ex-husband John L. Wilson.  Also, proceeding her in dearth was her daughter Constance Elaine Wilson, her granddaughter Jessica Kathryn Shebuski-Lott (Andrew) and the love of her life Jack Burress McGurk.  Surviving is her daughter Cynthia Carolyn Wilson-Shebuski of Alexandria, Virginia and grandsons Ron Shebuski Jr of Illinois and Neil Shebuski (Dawn, wife) and their children Jeremiah and Nathan of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She also survived by her stepson Shannon Lowe McGurk (Maureen, wife) of Virginia and their 12 children(Colin, Sarah, Hanna, Jack, Patrick, Brendon, Jane, Maggie,  Anthony, Francis, Simon, Henry) and 3 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on February 8, 2023 between 4-7 pm at Everly Wheatley funeral home in Alexandria.
