We have many fun and fond memories with Bob and Elaine. Her sense of humor and fun was so spirit lifting when we all relocated to San Diego and we were all so far from home, it was so nice to have them there with the history of our friendships. We missed them greatly when they returned to VA, and we will always miss Elaine's infectious smile, and of course the fun and hilarious days on the tennis court with them!

We were lucky enough to meet Elaine through her daughter Katie. We only had the pleasure of meeting a handful times, but we knew her to be a very kind woman and a great grandmother. She will be missed. Rest in Peace.

We all send our condolences to both the Arberg and Murphy families. Elaine was a 'sister' to June and we have so many happy memories of our time as neighbours in Alexandria, and continuing family friendship after our return to UK. Very sorry we can't be with you all on the 29th but we will be thinking of you all from this side of the pond.

Bob, girls and family, Elaine was a big presence and she leaves behind a big hole. We loved when she laughed out loud and yakked in her unmistakable accent. She was strong in so many ways and we are positive she went down swinging. Keep close the many memories she made for you and she'll never be that far from you. You have our condolences.

I will see Elaine with our Father, His Son, the Holy Spirit, and the family of my brothers and sisters in the Kingdom - and we will rejoice together once again. Of this I am certain. Bless you Elaine, for you are with Them now.

My thoughts are with your family and my heart is heavy with the loss of this brilliant light from this world. I believe Elaine will find peace forever having fought so valiantly her battle. I will always remember her laugh and clever wit. Perhaps we can see you when you come to Massachusetts and celebrate her life. A new star has been born in the sky.
All my love, Becky

My deepest condolences to the Arberg/Murphy families in the passing of Elaine. She was a strong presence in all our lives. She leaves a legacy of strength, courage, love and laughter. It is my belief that when the physical vessel that contains one’s life energy is no longer viable, then one’s energy is released into the universe. Elaine’ s energy continues to surround you and guides you as a beacon of love and light along your life journeys. She will be ever present with you..As I reflect on my memories of Elaine, there are so many moments filled with laughter, music, singing, dancing, skiing, eating lobsters, engaging conversations and so much fun. Though her time was short with us, it was a life well lived and time well spent, Find comfort in all the memories you shared. Sending much love and hugs to all of you, Sharon(Nic)
