Flore Steve Colantuoni

Flore Steve Colantuoni, 93, a longtime resident of Alexandria passed away peacefully December 27, 2020. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 2, 1927 and was stationed in Alexandria, Virginia during his service in the U.S. Army. He was a loving husband of 67 years to Mildred Lee Colantuoni /deceased and a devoted father to Thana Dixon/deceased (Steve), Judy Witherspoon (Barry), Stephen Colantuoni (Darlene), Jim Colantuoni (Sandi) and John Colantuoni (Cindy); as well as 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild due in March; and a special friend, Mandy Bennett. He retired after a long and successful career at Lindsey Cadillac where he managed various departments. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies and Washington football as well as casino trips. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and always being supportive and helpful. On Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:00am family and friends may gather at St. Rita Catholic Church, 3815 Russell Road, Alexandria, VA for a Mass of Christian Burial with interment to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a charitable contribution can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his honor. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations  be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
