Greg -

I wish we had reconnected over the years, but I can tell from your beautiful service that you stayed just the same as our family remembers - kind, and compassionate. Growing up you were my "third" big brother. My family is so sad to hear the news, but we are assured you are with God now. Sending all our prayers to your sweet mother, Sharon and the rest of your family. Being a die hard Redskins fan - this is hard to say, but considering  the Redskins aren't doing so hot - perhaps we will root this year for the 49ers. Sending all our thoughts, prayers and love.

Until we all meet again.

Greg, I am so very glad that I met your mother. She talked about her two sons all the time and in a good way!! Finally, I was finally going to meet you when you brought Zenia to the dog park one day! A car pulled up that Sharon said was yours. The back door opened up and a dog came out and you drove away!! My first "drive by" comment about you!! I finally did get a chance to meet you and everything your mother told me about was true. You were a strong, independent person who came by often just to check on mom not just on holidays. And you talked often even though you worked long hours. You always said "no thanks" to anything she was telling you to take home with you. Rather, You were asking her what you could do for her. You were a wonderful Uncle to your niece and nephew - that will stay with them forever. And after meeting Zenia, I knew you were not just a "drive by" dad!! She loved you! She got so excited when she saw you!
We always think there is more time for all of us. Sometimes there is but sadely God called you home. You have made a mark on a lot of people who will miss you but who will keep your memory alive in our hearts.
Rest In Peace Greg!

Greg, we hung out everyday between 1985-1993. I first met you behind your apartment playing in a box with a few pieces of Tupperware. We immediately became best friends and were inseparable for the rest of our childhood youth. You were literally another brother to me as you were to my brother and sister, who are so stunned by your sudden passing. You had a brilliant smile and a contagious laugh. We built forts, spent nights over at one another house and during the summers were always at the pool. You were so good to your mom and always admired your brother. I loved to watch on watch as you bantered with your dad. Both your mom and dad were always so good to me and my own mother loved you so much. We have so many family pics with you in them. I have fond memories of watching you play baseball at Bucknell. Games ending just as the sun would set. That color of the sky I will never forget just like the friendship me and you had. We were thick as thieves and I could not have a had a more generous, adventurous and caring friend. I am so saddened by your passing and my deepest condolences to your mother Sharon and brother Jerry. I wish we would have stayed in touch as we got older but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Please look out for us down here and know that even though there is so much time between our last conversation, you always be in my heart as my first best friend that could be topped by no other. Love you buddy and I’ll see you in the next life. God Bless!!!
