Harry Wayne Hook, Jr.

Harry Wayne Hook, Jr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 72. 

Born on January, 17, 1949 in Alexandria, Virginia, Wayne was a graduate of Groveton High School.

After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army  in Vietnam.

Wayne returned from the war, and began a successful career in the Automobile Industry, where he worked from 1971 until 2010.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ellen Hook. Daughters Amy Louise Baber and Elizabeth Hook Farmer and her husband Adam.  Granddaughters Ella Grace and Marin Knight Farmer, Siblings Paula Uhler (deceased) Pamela Williams, Cindy Anderson, Beth Hook, Michael Hook and Chris Hook, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Grace Episcopal Church, 3601 Russell Rd., Alexandria, VA 22305 on Wednesday,  August 11th  at 1 pm.
