James Robert Icenogle, age 47, passed away on April 17, 2024. He was born on July 12, 1976 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and graduated from Shiloh High School in 1994. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for 9 years. While in the Army he met his wife, Kristin and he worked as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst. After the Army, they settled in Black Hawk, Colorado. He worked for Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, and then became the founder and CEO of Gray Tier Technologies, LLC.
James loved adventures with his family (especially at Disney), UGA Football and the Atlanta Braves. He was quick with a joke and had a great laugh! James believed in enjoying life with your family and family first no matter what.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kristin of Black Hawk, Colorado; their daughters, Lynda and Maybel; his parents, Ricky and Susan Icenogle of Stone Mountain, Georgia; siblings, Heath Icenogle (Cindy), Mark Icenogle (Kathryn), Rebecca Hollis (Edward), Rachel Icenogle and Victoria Oliver (Clint), and maternal Grandmother Sandra Menard. He is also survived by his Father-in-Law, Bernie Jueschke, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Memorial services will take place at the following locations:
Church on Main, Snellville, Georgia on May 4, 2024 at 11:00am, with visitation at 10:00am.
Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, Alexandria, Virginia on May 5, 2024 at 1:00pm
Glipin County High School, Black Hawk, Colorado on May 18, 2024 at 6:00pm
Burial services will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
