James Rainey

James Nelson Rainey, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 at the age of 51. Born in North Carolina on July 29, 1970, James was a longtime resident of Virginia.  He was a dedicated employee for the City of Alexandria Sanitation Department for many years. James will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Alexandria Scottish Rite Temple, 1430 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302, located directly next door to the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home. 

Interment will be held  at Bethel Cemetery, 1300 Wilkes St. Alexandria, VA 22314
