Jesse has been a profound influence on me. I grew up next door to him. Our families were extremely close. He counseled me on several important life decisions such as whether I should join the military, what I should study in school, and obviously which houses to buy. Eventually I had children of my own and watching Jesse interact with them reminded me so much of growing up with the Fords. In the almost 30 years I have known him he has been the epitome of honor and respect. We will miss him greatly.

With love,
Paul, Frida, Jonas and Elsa

Lucy, We have not met but Jesse and I were classmates at R.E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas. He was a great guy and always fun to be with. The world has lost a real asset but now Jesse can help God with the organization of Heaven. May God look out for and protect you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Jesse. Will always remember the kindness of the Fabulous Ford Family during my temporary assignments in DC back in the 1980s. Also have fond memories of Lucy rushing out of the office on a Friday afternoon to get married, proving you don't need a fancy wedding to have a solid marriage!
Glad Jesse was able to spend time with the Bargars, Liz, and Christa over the Christmas holidays and I know that faith, family, and friends will sustain you at this difficult time.
Love and hugs,
Diane

Lucy and Family,
We are so sorry to hear the sad news about Jesse. Our condolences are extended to you and your family at this difficult time.
Reflecting for just a moment and remembering Jesse at the Park Dr. Residence… with the Corvettes, managing or not the hills, grass and the trees, the perfect host for all the wonderful parties, and more. We had such fond memories and will be pleased to share more thoughts with you and friends at the farewell celebration.

Lucy ... I'm so very sorry to hear this news. My condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I only met Jesse once when you brought him to a PROST function, that was after he became ill, and I know how much loving care you gave him. Please try to take care of yourself through this sad time, and I hope to see you one of these days.

I have so many great memories of our trips to visit you and Aunt Lucy. The last trip in November was the most memorable and I will always cherish the memories we made. Every time I pass a place that sells shakes I will assume you are having one in heaven. Your love for Honeybanked Ham and Crab cakes are other memories that make me smile. Ive learned to " Just Say Thank You" when someone wants to give you things and expect nothing in return.
I love you Uncle Jesse and I will never forget your kindness and generous characteristics. You are missed.

Missing you Uncle Jesse, but also know that you are with our Lord Jesus. I am thankful for the many memories I have of you and your family. Our Thanksgiving gatherings, the State Fair in Texas, the Arboretum, trips to your home, my parents 50th wedding anniversary and so on and so on....You were a great uncle, kind, loving and caring. You will be missed. I love you, Sharon

One half of the dynamic duo decided to hang up his cape and call it quits recently. He is sorely missed. But I remember most is that Texas drawl, that his favorite month was Ju...ly, jokes so bad they were great, bartending together for more than a decade at St. Peter's annual auctions, and that when they moved off of our block to reside in Virginia him insisting it was only 16.8 miles away. Jesse was a good soul and I am proud to call him my friend. To Lucy, Janelle and Lizzie, we are all here for you.
