John "Jerry" A. Brooks 
On Thursday, August 30, 2018 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of the late Irene Rachel Brooks of 67 years. Survived by his son, John M. Brooks (Kathy); daughters, Pat Tessier (Paul) and Jane Saylor (Wayne); 9 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. John was also preceded in death by his son, Jerry Brooks, and great-grandson, Trae Brown.
Relatives and friends may call at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Sunday, September 9th from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, 3815 Russell Road, Alexandria, VA 22305 on Monday, September 10th at 11:30 a.m., followed immediately by interment at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
