Joseph M. Kemper

Joseph Kemper, a long time resident of the Watergate at Landmark in Alexandria VA has passed away on December 20 2018. He served in the Army for 3 years and the Reserves for fifteen years. He was also a retired Foreign Service Officer for 20 years. He as mostly stationed in Africa, in addition to 5 years in Korea. At 21 he married Micheline, a French woman who served as an English translator in Germany. They were married for 64 years. He is survived by 2 daughters: Chantal Golden and Caroline Kemper who is the Guest Coordinator at Dawn Marie’s Visage, the Watergate salon. Services will be a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
