Juanita Wanda Bragg, 94.5, who lived an amazing life doing a variety of jobs, died at Alexandria Hospital on July 25, 2018 surrounded by many of her loved ones.
Juanita Bragg graduated from God’s Bible School in Cincinnati, OH where she worked as a PBX Switchboard Operator in 1939-1941 during her school years.
Beloved wife of the late Norton D. Bragg, Jr; she is survived by her three daughters and by her son: Rebecca Sanders (Dex), Norton D. Bragg III, Linda Cansler, Nancy von Guggenberg (Alex), and Jackie Myers (Benny). She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, her 43 great grandchildren, and her 3 great-great grandchildren.
Juanita accepted Jesus as her Savior at age 12 and lived her whole life for Him. She was a loving wife, mother, church member, and friend. She has been an example of godliness, faithfulness, generosity, love, and servanthood to all who knew her.
A viewing will be held at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home at 1500 W. Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Sunday, July 29th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the funeral service will be on Monday, July 30th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by an interment at National Memorial Park. Everyone is invited to Del Ray United Methodist Church for light refreshments after the graveside service.
