Karen Swetnam, 63

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and friend, died in her home in Arlington, Virginia on March 22.

Karen was the wife of Michael Swetnam and mother to Kelly and Kevin, Grandmother to Tommy, Alex, Josh, and Bella. She brought joy into every life she encountered, great and small, and will be missed by all who knew her.

The family asks for prayers and invites all who miss her to donate to the ASPCA or local animal shelter in recognition of her love of animals in need of care.

A visitation will take place at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, Virginia on Friday, March 30th at 10a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11a.m. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
