Louise M. Peterson, 100, resident of The Goodwin House BC, died on May 17, 2018, having been immobilized for over 2 years from a fall while vacationing on a cruise ship. Louise was born Sept. 21, 1917 and raised in Minnesota by Scandinavian parents, Louis and Millianne Borrud Peterson.  She worked for over 40 years in the Federal Government as an Administrative Aide in Defense Attache Offices. Louise loved to travel and was stationed throughout Europe, the Middle East, Central America, Mexico and Canada. While working at the Pentagon she met Wynfred Joshua, with whom she became close friends.  Soon the Joshua’s considered her part of the family and she was included in all of their celebrations, activities and beach weeks. Louise was loved for her kindness, courteousness and sense of humor, which she never lost, not even in the last weeks before her death. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially Winny and all members of the family. In conformity with her wish, she will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at sea.
