Margaret Elizabeth Elliott

September 11, 1930 ~ May 11, 2022 (age 91) 91 Years Old

Tribute

Margaret (Peggy) Kennedy Elliott, 91 years old, passed away from Lewy Body Dementia on May 11, 2022 at Westminster Towers.  Born in Coolidge, Georgia, she was the daughter of Bennett and Annie Mae Kennedy.

After graduating from Miami Dade High School and prior to marriage in 1958, Peggy was a stewardess for National Airlines. When her two daughters were toddlers, her husband died while honoring this country in the US Air Force. Determined to be a positive and productive role model, she went on to nursing school to become an LPN then worked for Central Florida Blood Bank in Orlando as a Phlebotomist for nearly 40 years.  Peggy belonged to First United Methodist Church Orlando where, for many years, she enjoyed studying in a Bible group. She was active in her community and an avid volunteer.  Peggy enjoyed hard work, taking care of others, and spending time with her daughters. She will be remembered for her playful humor, kindness, honesty, work ethic, and her desire to learn.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberley Elliott Wilson MD and Janet Elliott Green, two sons-in-law, W Hayes Wilson MD and Richard A Green, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many devoted nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. William (Bill) Elliott, her parents, Bennett and Annie Mae Kennedy, her siblings, BT Kennedy, Earl Kennedy, Doris Kennedy Wood Wells, and Joyce Kennedy McConnell.
