Nancy Rissler Jones, (Age 82) of Springfield, Virginia died December 19, 2019 at Greenspring Village in Springfield, Virginia.

Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Lennius Raymond Rissler and Agnes Foerster Rissler.   She was a Duke University graduate, lifelong swimmer, long distance runner, devoted mother and military spouse.   She retired after working as an administrator for the U.S. Federal Government for many years.   She was an enthusiastic homemaker, cat lover, and church member.   
Surviving are two sons, Mark and Brian, her brother Alan, her caring daughters in law, Karen and Jeanne, and five grandchildren, Austin, Sarah, Valerie, Nicholas and Emma.   

A private service will be scheduled for the Spring of 2020 in North Carolina.    Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
