Patricia E. Brown

Patricia Evelyn Brown was born on November 30, 1942 in Church Point, LA, one of two siblings to the late Homer Jacob and Sylvia Belle Jacob.  Patricia served in the United States Air force from 1963 to 1966.

Pat, Aunt Pat, or MawMaw, as she was referred to by her family and friends performed administrative duties for the Federal Government for approximately 41 years.  Pat enjoyed baking and was commonly known for her mouth watering 7-Up pound cake. 

As a child Pat joined and actively attended Saint Theresa Catholic Church located in Orange, TX. In 1968, Pat relocated to Arlington, VA to work at the Pentagon and became an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

In 1969, she met the love of her life on a blind date, Joseph Edward Brown (deceased).  He was also an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

After suffering from a long illness, Pat left us quietly and peacefully for her eternal home on Sunday, January 19, 2020.  Loving memories of Pat will remain with her daughter, Lisa Brown Gilmore (Paul Gilmore); grandson, Anton Render; granddaughter, Blair Gilmore; sister, Jessie Jacob; aunt Elizabeth Pollard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Eternal Rest

Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord.

And let perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace.

May her soul and the souls of the departed, 

through the mercy of God rest in peace.
