Raymonda Wheless Mackay

Raymonda Wheless Mackay, age 77 of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on December 4, 2018 surrounded by her immediate family.

Raymonda is survived by William Charles Mackay, her husband of 54 years, her daughter Raymonda Tracy Arrington (Paul) of Manassas, VA, her son Christopher Wheless Mackay (Connie) of Alexandria, VA, and four grandchildren; Caroline Mae Arrington age 15, Thomas Hewitt Arrington age 14, William Cooper Mackay age 14, and Christopher Moyer Mackay age 12. In addition, she had a large extended family and countless friends whom she considered family, who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on January 12, 2019 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2701 Cameron Mills Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302. All are invited to attend a reception immediately following the service in Westminster’s Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) and/or the  Timothy Aycock Melanoma Research Foundation (www.melanomafund.org), both of which were near and dear to Raymonda’s heart.
