Sheila Anne (Brigham) Mitchell (84)
Of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2108.
Sheila was born in Cohasset Massachusetts on October 25, 1933. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and worked in the education field as a talented and caring school teacher in the Army Dependent School System in Korea. Sheila had numerous hobbies, she enjoyed reading, painting, calligraphy as well as pen and ink art. She was a dedicated volunteer and aide at her local church, as well as a member of the Bell Choir. In her spare time she loved taking trips to the beach with her family and friends.
Sheila will be missed dearly by her family and friends, as she touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by Charles B. Mitchell, son. She is survived by her loving husband COL Charles H. Mitchell, USA (Ret), her sister Deborah Potter, brother Paul Brigham, brother in law Richard Mitchell, daughters Shelley Mitchell and Elizabeth Mitchell, and granddaughters Nicole Mitchell and Julia Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
