Su Min-Chun Yieh

Su Min-Chun Yieh, 67, was taken to the Lord to rest in peace on September 27th, 2022, after a brave fight with cancer, and is survived by her husband, the Rev. Dr. John Yieh and their daughter, Janet Yieh.  Su was born to CHENG Yong-Huei and SU Su-Yuan in Sijhih, Taiwan, the fourth of five siblings in a loving family. She graduated from Taiwan Theological College with a BA in Christian Education, and served as Chaplain at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei.  Moving to the US in 1985, she has been a devoted wife, loving mother, gentle and caring friend to all.  She has joyfully supported her husband’s ministry at Virginia Theological Seminary as Professor of New Testament for more than 27 years and is beloved by the community of Virginia Theological Seminary and the Old Presbyterian Meeting House in Alexandria.  We mourn her passing but remember with deep love her self-less life that has abundantly blessed her family, friends, and many people.
