Aristotele “Telly” Charuhas

Born on March 28, 1936, to Kate Sigros Charuhas and John George Charuhas, Aristotele “Telly” Charuhas passed away on January 27, 2021. He was a member of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church. Telly was predeceased by his two beloved sisters, Antonia “Toni” C. Demeres, and Bertha C. Doulis.  He was also predeceased by his five wonderful brothers, Nicholas, James, Peter, Manuel and George Charuhas. He was blessed to live his life surrounded by a loving family of many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, a great grand-niece, and three great grand-nephews. Uncle Telly was deeply loved by all of his family. He was warm, caring and gentle and his Greek Orthodox faith always gave him courage and strength. His kindness and love will be missed by all of his family and friends. Arrangements are through Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302. A funeral will be held   Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00 am at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church, VA 22041. Following the funeral, Telly will be buried with his family at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 8401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
