Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 in Haymarket, VA. Born in Narrows, VA on June 4, 1920 to Wirt and Nellie Ratcliff. Survived by her son, Buddy Clark, and daughter, Joan Drew; step-daughter, Carolyn Sue Vick; grandchildren, Steve Clark, Rhonda Titus, Timothy Clark, Rebecca Clark, Laura Wackett, Jeffrey Drew, Cynthia McArtor, Chuck Shifflett, Kenneth Shifflett, Pamela Auandee, Gary Shifflett, and Scott Shifflett; siblings, Leon Ratcliff, James E. Ratcliff, Sonny Ratcliff, and Louise L. Ratcliff. Preceded in death by her parents, Wirt and Nellie Ratcliff; husbands, the late Wirty J. Clark of 29 years, and the late Robert Hazen of 23 years; daughter, Joyce Shifflett; sister, Mamie Sue Turner; and brother, Marvin H. Ratcliff.

Relatives and friends may call at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., where the funeral will begin at 11 a.m., followed by interment at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042.
