Yvette Marie Fallin

Yvette Marie Fallin, 99, passed peacefully Thursday, September 16, 2022. She was born February 4, 1923 in Paris, France. She earned a BA degree and taught elementary school one year. She married Ferdinand Fallin in Berlin in 1947. In 1971 the couple moved to Alexandria, Virginia. She and Fred enjoyed long careers with the Army-Air Force Exchange Service. After retirement, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at the National Archives.

She is survived by a nephew, Robert Fallin (Virginia), and nieces MarieClair Fricaud (Paris) and Liliane Unger (Heidelberg). She loved entertaining and was beloved by many. She was proud to be American and also proud to be French!

She will join Ferdinand in Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
