I had the honor of serving with Kirk in General Officer Management Office (GOMO) at the Pentagon in the late-1970s. Kirk was an outstanding officer and a great friend.

How very sad to read of Kirk,s passing today-He was a classmate of Bob Baker at Episcopal, and we enjoyed a class reunion with him a couple of years ago and re newing an old friendship- Bob had many fond memories of him and will be deeply moved with this news-There are some people you think will never leave us ,and Kirk was one of those-What an absolute delightful human being that the world has so few of now a days-Our deepest sympathy to all of you for such a great loss-Ann Livingston and Bob Baker

I am so sorry to learn of Kirk's passing. We had lunch just a few weeks earlier. He was my weekly golfing partner for more than 25 years and a dear friend, wonderful person, and exemplary officer. I admire him as much as anyone I know.
