My deepest condolences on the passing of such a fantastic person! So many shared memories: Finding the Boyce pillar in the National Cathedral, Mom's Cape Cod birthday party, and our fun nights celebrating at the Rusty Scupper in Baltimore for Kelsey and Alissa's graduations! You are all in my prayers. Much Love, Jean Anderson

Our sympathy to the Moretti family. We have so many fond memories from our years as your next door neighbors. I am glad that we had a chance to visit and catch up with each other at Chez Andree before John passed away. The world seems a much emptier place without him. Sincerely, Andrea and David Lacey

My deepest sympathy to you Jean, Father Mark, and all of the Moretti family, at this time when our Dear Lord must have needed a very good man in Heaven. There are those extraordinary individuals who come into our lives, that once they have touched us, however briefly, leave their mark to the point we will never forget them. You, Jean, and John complimented each other in such an exemplary way, and John Moretti left his mark on me and so many of us on that St. John's trip to Cape Cod. A rare mixture of intelligence, strength, yet gentle soul, true Christian, with a sincere interest in others, and a great big helping of wonderful humor. I am just so glad I knew him, if only briefly. I hope you will find peace in that you did enjoy many good years with him, and those memories you will always cherish.

May God Bless you all with his Divine Grace and His Mercy now, and comfort you in the days ahead.

We will always remember Mr. Morretti as a true family man who loved his family unconditionally. His ability to tell stories was surpassed only by his dry and witty sense of humor! We were both blessed and honored to have known him. May God grant him eternal rest and wrap His loving arms around the Morretti family.

Dear Mrs. Moretti and family, You are in my prayers and thanksgiving. I shall always treasure the life and leadership of John. His instructions about ushering at St Rita was priceless. It was an privilege to follow his role as the head usher, especially being so young coming into the Catholic faith and fellowship. His shoes was too large to fill, but I am confident that the prayers and love he continually offered is the reason we always made him proud. My am very sad concerning your loss. I look forward to the gathering of the followers of Jesus Christ when we shall meet again. My recent move to Las Vegas prevents me from attending the tributes. Please know the distance does not limit my love and appreciation for a very great man of God. RIP Mr. Moretti.
Peace be with you,
Daniel Nichols

My husband Rick and I have never met Mr. Moretti but the example that Father Mark displays at Mass in the homilies and just being himself shows what Mr. Moretti passed down to his 3 children. What a tribute he was to his family and all around him. Our deepest sympathy to the Moretti family and may God watch over all of them as they face life without this wonderful man. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

My heartfelt sympathies to all the Moretti's. I feel so fortunate to have had dinner with Mark, John and Jean in May and will remember John as I saw him then; great sense of humor, a ready smile, open heart, a kind and gentle soul. Sending you all love, prayers for healing and eternal friendship.

Thanks for the great memories John! You will be missed!
