Richard Jacques Jodoin

Richard Jacques Jodoin, of Springfield, VA, passed at his home on September 24, 2017. He was born to the late Jacques and Corinne Jodoin of Worcester, MA.

Richard started his career serving 4 years in the United States Air Force. He earned a Master’s Degree in History at Harvard University. Richard taught in the Alexandria City Public School system for 47 years. He loved teaching students, books on tape, long walks, exercising, the theater, and traveling.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4 -6pm at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, a homeless shelter, or a charity of choice.
