I was so sad to hear that Tom has passed away. We used to be neighbors and best friends through middle school. Hours and hours were spent playing baseball and football in his little front yard on Tremont Street in Duxbury. Out back we played cowboys and Indians and cops and robbers. I might add that we made our own rubber band guns. (And I'm a girl.) He had a small TV, and sometimes we sat about a foot away from the screen and watched cartoons. Other times we sorted through our comic books and traded (but not for keeps.) In our high school years, Tommy had a few girl friends, and I had boyfriends, and our fun times together kind of ended, even though we were still friends. Later on, we would meet at class reunions and hash over old times. Great fun! I always hoped to see him again, but I guess that day will happen when we meet in Heaven. Until then I will always hold memories of him close to my heart. My best wishes and prayers to all of his family. Mary Walters

David, Scott, John and Steven
I was sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I will always remember the good times we had together in Duxbury and Va. Beach.
I hope you all are doing well and that our paths may cross in the future.

Tom was a dear friend and co-worker. We called him the "energizer bunny" because of his inexhaustible energy. He was a caring, compassionate man and had an unmatchable sense of humor even in the face of adversity. He left an indelible footprint and I feel blessed to have known him. My sincerest condolences to his family.
