We were so lucky to have Mary as our first neighbor when we bought our first home. It was nice to live next to someone who loved cats as much as we did and was generally just a wonderful person. We miss our front porch and the time we spent talking to Mary on it to this day and are very sorry for your loss.

Mary was a lovely, giving person and a great supporter of the arts here in Alexandria. I got to know her through her work in the neighborhood and she became a client. Wonderful soul that will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.

I will very much miss not being able to join in tonight's tribute to Mary. But, I wanted to share my condolences with the family. Mary was the kind of person who you meet once and adore forever. Solid, honest, thoughtful, intelligent, engaged, a great conversationalist with a wicked sense of humor, and always full of grace. This is the beautiful woman I will deeply miss.

To Mary's family and friends,
My deepest condolences for your loss. I have many fond memories of Mary as we became Kappa sisters our freshman year and for the rest of our college experience. May her memory be eternal. MTSND, Mary.

So sorry to hear about Mary's passing. Mary was such a kind and caring person. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she came to New Jersey to visit her family. May she rest in peace

So sad to hear this. Mary was one of my roommates @ North Adams States, and a sorority sister. My deepest condolences to Mary's family, and friends. She was a very kind, and genuine woman. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Lisa (Gallo) Campbell
